Postcard from Charles
I have my grandfather Claude Barlow's scrapbook of postcards and pictures. I hope to document the contents of this book. This is the first of many to come I hope.
Charles Clayton Barlow is one of his older brothers. As a child he never mentioned this brother. I used to sit outside with him during the one week each summer that my parents would visit my grandparents in Devon Connecticut. He would talk of sisters Vergie and Daisey and brother Will but no mention of the other siblings (Herbert, Harry, Charles and May).
Barlow, Charles Clayton postcard:
Picture on front of postcard is Field Marshal Sir John French Inspector General of the Forces.
